“Wealth comes from the quality of your relationships, not from the illusion of self-sufficiency.”

— Robin Wall Kimmerer, The Serviceberry

Our work together begins with the belief that you are more than your symptoms, your history, or the patterns that helped you survive. I offer a collaborative, trauma-informed space to explore what is happening beneath the surface—how your nervous system, body, relationships, experiences, beliefs, and internal narratives shape the way you move through the world. We will also consider the larger systems and environments you live within, recognizing that those systems do not offer the same safety, belonging, or opportunity to everyone. My work is LGBTQ+ affirming and informed by an understanding of how identity, culture, family, community, and social expectations can shape our experiences of ourselves and one another. Whether you are navigating trauma, anxiety, identity, relationship changes, women’s health concerns, hormonal shifts, or a sense that something no longer fits, our work can help you unearth what is true, reclaim your inner knowing, and develop greater freedom in how you respond to life.

I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you develop compassionate relationships with the different parts of yourself and understand the wisdom and protective intentions beneath your patterns. Through trauma-informed psychoeducation, autonomic nervous system work, and neurobiology, we explore how your body and brain respond to safety, threat, and the environments around you. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) can support you in clarifying your values and taking meaningful action even in the presence of difficult thoughts and emotions. Clinical hypnosis may offer access to deeper patterns, resources, and ways of experiencing yourself beyond the limits of conscious thought. Inner Journey Meditation draws from contemplative and Eastern traditions to cultivate awareness, presence, and connection with your inner landscape. Therapeutic gardening brings this work into relationship with the natural world through hands-on experiences in my community garden plot, using tending, growth, dormancy, cycles, and the living landscape as a way of exploring your own process.

I also bring a particular interest in women’s health and the ways hormonal rhythms and life-stage transitions can intersect with mood, energy, identity, relationships, and our sense of self. Together, we can explore your experience across menstrual and hormonal cycles, reproductive transitions, perimenopause and menopause, and other changes in the body, while honoring the ways culture and expectations can shape how we relate to those experiences. I also offer specialized support for people navigating non-traditional relationship structures, including consensual non-monogamy and polyamory. We can explore communication, boundaries, attachment, jealousy, agreements, identity, intimacy, and the ways conventional relationship expectations may or may not fit your life.

We are not meant to do this work alone. Like the living systems of the natural world, we are shaped through relationship, reciprocity, and connection. I believe our becoming happens in relationship—with ourselves, with one another, and with the living world around us. Across our work, there is room for the full range of life's cycles: rooting, growing, shedding, resting, composting, and beginning again.
